What is IOP? How does your Newnan IOP Process Work?

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) are great options for patients needing structured support but not requiring full-time care and supervision. The flexibility provided by IOPs lets patients maintain a balance between addiction therapy and work, school, and family life while still committing to their recovery goals.

Here's how it works:

  1. Flexible Scheduling :
Our IOP sessions are scheduled to fit into your routine. During the admissions process we will go over your commitments outside of therapy to find a time that best suits your schedule. The goal is to provide flexibility while still engaging in your recovery process.
  1. Personalized Treatment Plans :
During your intake, we will go over your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs to develop a treatment plan tailored specifically to you and your recovery. We will make sure your therapy, life skills, and wellness practices align with your goals and needs.
  2. Therapeutic Support:
As part of your IOP, you will participate in individual therapy, and group therapy with the goal of building coping skills and strengthening relationships so you can sustain a life of sobriety in the real world.

IOP Helps Set the Stage for Lasting Change

  1. Structured Transition
IOPs are great for those stepping down from intensive, structured treatment. IOPs help patients build independence with support to be successful.
  2. Focus on Relapse Prevention
During your treatment, you will address your triggers and situations that lead to substance use. We will help you develop healthy coping mechanisms to increase your resiliency and prevent relapse.
  3. Continuing Support
Once you complete your program, you are not alone. We will make sure that as part of your aftercare planning, you are connected with resources, therapy, and support to maintain your recovery.

Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program

Our outpatient treatment program is a lower-intensity, flexible option providing support for patients who need treatment support while maintaining their daily responsibilities such as work or school. It is an excellent option for those who have completed higher-intensity treatment programs or who have milder cases of addiction.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Partial Hospitalization Programs serve as a middle step between inpatient rehab and intensive outpatient programs. This program is an intensive, structured program that provides comprehensive care without requiring full-time hospitalization. Patients will receive treatment support in a hospital setting but can return home in the evenings.
