How Our PHP in Newnan, GA Works

Hope Haven Recovery Center's PHP is a day treatment program that provides highly structured, intensive care while allowing you to return home in the evenings. This program is centered around determining the underlying causes of addiction using evidence-based therapies, educational sessions, and skill-building workshops. The goal is to combine addiction education, life skills training, and evidence-based therapies to overcome addiction.

What Our PHP Program Looks Like:

  • Comprehensive Assessment: As part of the admissions process, we will asses your needs and goals to develop a treatment plan tailored to your recovery.
  • Daily Therapy Sessions: Each day, you will attend individual therapy and group therapy sessions. During therapy, you’ll learn about your triggers, build coping mechanisms, and develop skills to build your emotional resilience.
  • Skill Development: You will learn life skills, relapse prevention, and stress management skills to support your recovery.
  • Holistic Care: In addition to therapy, we offer mindfulness practices, exercise, and nutritional guidance to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Step-Down Support: As you progress, we will support you as you step down to less intensive care levels.

PHP Trusted By The Newnan Community

Hope Haven Recovery Center is committed to providing professional and compassionate care. Our team of clinicians and addiction treatment specialists use evidence-based practices to help support your journey to sobriety and continue your life in recovery.

Our PHP addresses the underlying causes of addiction and symptom-awareness so you can live a healthy life in recovery. We use a combination of intensive therapy and life skills application to help you gain the confidence you need to live a life free from substances.

PHP Helps Build the Foundation for a Healthy Future

  1. Addressing Root Causes
In order to be able to maintain a life in recovery, it’s important to understand and acknowledge the factors that contribute to your addiction. Trauma, stress, and co-occurring mental health conditions all play a role in substance addiction. We use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), as well as trauma-informed care as part of your treatment plan.
  2. Developing Real-World Skills
Breaking free from addiction is only the first part of the recovery process. Being able to build and maintain a life without substance use is equally as important. You’ll learn skills in our PHP program that help teach you life skills and ways to regulate your emotions in order to prevent relapsing.

  3. Building a Support Network
Recovery shouldn’t be a path walked alone. Throughout our program, you will find support from the connections you make with your peers who understand what you are going through. Creating a community is an important part of maintaining sobriety. Not only will you build a support system from your peers, we will also work with involving your loved ones in the process so they can be part of your recovery journey as well.
